Getting to the venue

By Car

The University Campus parking is limited to permit holders from 10-4 on weekdays, and on-street parking is limited. Parking is available in campus car parks over the weekend. The signage does not mention the days or hours for which those rules apply, but repeated discussion with university security confirms this to be the case.

By Bus

From the City Centre – FirstBus routes 1, 1A and 2 stop close to the the venue and go along Union Street in the city centre. Google Map directions from Union Street to the venue.

If you arrive at Aberdeen by coach or rail then you will arrive at Union Square. The bus station here also has buses to the venue, however, these are less frequent than those on nearby Union Street. Google Map directions from Union Square to the venue.

Getting to Aberdeen

By Air

Aberdeen Airport has taxi and bus services and there is also a train from Dyce to Aberdeen city centre. The bus service runs from the airport to Union Square in the city centre. Travel information from Aberdeen Airport.

By Train

Aberdeen train station is at Union Square in the city centre, this is the closest train station to the venue.

By Coach

Citylink, Megabus and National Express all have services to Aberdeen from around the UK. The buses arrive to Union Square in the city centre.


There are hotels throughout Aberdeen as well as a Youth Hostel and Bed & Breakfast / AirBnB options. There are frequent public transport services from Union Street at the heart of the city but less frequent services further out so check potential hotel’s distance from the venue or Union Street before booking.  VisitScotland’s accommodation in Aberdeen.
